It’s August 2024, time for some new Stern Pinball Insider Connected quests!

- August 2-31 – Deadpool Merc Mouth – Spell “DEADPOOL” by completing all of the DEADPOOL targets in on game session
- August 2-31 – Allergic To Cats – Defeat Sabretooth with Deadpool and Wolverine Team-Up
- August 2-31 – Team Up Kitty Kitty Speed Run – Defeat Sabertooth within 30 seconds with Deadpool and Wolverine Team-Up
- August 2-31 – SNNNKKT 2K – hit the “SNNNKKT” shot to start 2X playfield

This month, there are four different day-focused quests, let’s go in order:
- August 1-31 – Flipp N’ Pirates – play any 4 of the machines listed below with R in their title. Here are the *15* of 24 titles for reference:

- August 1-4 – Pinball 4 Life – play any Stern IC machine and score at least 100 million – good machines are located in the high scoring tier (see: Ranking Stern Spike 2 Games by Scoring Tier +Took 900+ days to score over a billion) that should make this easier are Star Wars, Jaws
- August 1-11 – Go 4 The Gold! – play Stern IC machine and score at least 50 million – same instruction as above
- August 30-31 only – Frank N’ Stern – Play any of the following creature-themed games and score at least 7.5 million points: Godzilla (recommended), Stranger Things or Munsters. Note: Munsters will be the hardest to do this, so avoid that one. If you can find a Stranger Things that let’s you plunge the skill shot for 5 million, some are set that way, that machine will be the easiest to score 7.5 million, but otherwise Godzilla is the best choice here.
These quests, for those that have access to the machines of course, should be fairly easy this month and you can earn two of them from one game: Pinball 4 Life and Go 4 The Gold with a single 100+ million score game (recommended: Star Wars). Pinball 4 Life is the most challenging, but if you have access to Star Wars or Jaws somewhere, both should make this not too challenging.
The August leaderboard game hasn’t been announced as of this publishing, but my guess is Deadpool, to coincide with the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie that’s out in theaters. Will come back and update this post when/if one is announced.

Last Month Recap
Last month, we saw the release of the new John Wick limited contract badges, of which I questioned one being not so limited (2,000) and, sure enough, 2,000 weren’t fulfilled within the month. The rest, however, were very limited and all fulfilled, including the last contract that was extremely limited, with just 7 contracts!

Since October 2023, Stern has offered quests to earn virtual badges on a monthly frequency. Here’s a historical record of our coverage. NOTE: prior to October 2023, there were other quests in 2023, like a Foo Fighters quest that spanned multiple months for a tour, but there weren’t month-specific quests. There were also some months where there were global tournaments only.
