VPX is back + FX Tourneys + Humpday Wednesday #54

We get you over the hump of the week … closer to the weekend! This week, after 4+ months of no VPX, we’re going to go back into the VPX vault and play through several virtual pinball games. Yes, we’re taking a break from streaming Jaws this week.

• New FX Tournament launch + recap of last week’s leaderboard high scores + play in tournaments created by others
• Stern IC now tracks beyond a 600 days streak played in a row! There is one player, Samantha Christina (congrats!) in one of the Facebook groups I belong that posted a picture showing progress beyond 600, that was previously not awarding badges. I asked how Samantha how many people in the world have her last achieved badge of 660? My guess was less than 10 people in the world, because I’m at 141 (today) and the last badge earned of 130 had only 403 people in the world. Pretty sure I saw a discussion previously that the number of players that earned the 600 badge was like 5-10 players in the world, so there can’t be that many more up where Samantha is at.

• Should there be a Stern store discount or something offered by Stern once a player has reached 1,000 day streak? I mean, that will be like over 2.5 years of playing Stern pinball logged in. That’s got to be worth … something? Perhaps this very exclusive club should be invited by them to their next game in progress reveal like they did with John Wick?
• Speaking of game streak, my #GameADayChallenge streak that started January 1, 2022 is still going. We’re planning a 1,000 day streak party on Thursday September 26, 2024 via the Twitch channel, mark your calendars.

Be sure to use default settings for all tables, unless otherwise noted and make sure you’re playing the version listed in the yellow highlight at the top of our iScored leaderboard page. Then, simply, play the game and try and beat your personal best. Once you’ve done so, share the score.
