Own A Stern Pinball At Home? Stern Insider Home Team Feature Allows Up To 8 Players Remembered On Free Play, No QR Code Scanning Needed

This Stern Pinball Home feature seems quite useful — for those that own their own Stern Pinball machine at home and activate the mode. The video below explains how this can be activated from the owner’s service menu.

Spoke to a friend recently that owns two Stern Insider Conneced machines, and isn’t using the Home Team function yet. I’m going to send him a link to this. IF/when we decide to take the plunge and buy one of these (and I’d put this at about 50-75% likely as of this writing), this will be one of the first things we do.

Speaking about buying a pinball, lately I’ve been spending more time at Pinside. They have a fairly active buy/sell market there (https://pinside.com/pinball/market) which helps to determine market pricing for pinball machines.

Just enter your search criteria for the pin you’re interested in, my example shows searching for Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast, and then you’re treated to a whole bunch of results with prices.

  1. Hi Todd!

Do the newer Stern Machines come with Stern Insider Connected already installed and setup ? I do love this new Home feature.

    1. Yes, Insider Connected is installed, you only need to setup the Wifi and configure this Home Team one time for the first machine and when you register additional machines, the home team is automatically available on the additional machines.
