Several board games are based on figuring out a truth from a lie (Balderdash!), in Stupid Deaths, the lie you’re trying to figure out is if the stupid death is fact or fiction.
This is the game of dark fun, where players who are dead right win! Many people die in utterly ridiculous ways, and Stupid Deaths challenges players to identify myth versus fact. In this hilarious party game, players work to beat the Grim Reaper before the Grim Reaper beats them.

This year I’ve been delving more back into board games. I tried out my first roll & write game – Super Skill Pinball — and have been playing some board games online (see: REVIEW: Board Games Arena – Play Hundreds of Board Games Online Against Others for FREE). I taught our oldest grandson how to play Yahtzee. He couldn’t understand why we kept getting beat, but it’s a dice game and randomness is a concept that even young kids find hard to understand. Some games lean more to luck than skill.

Can you beat the ultimate game of life … and death?
Doesn’t sound like luck has much to do with Stupid Deaths, unless someone just happens to have super knowledge about deaths or can sniff out the lies from the truth. Some people are more skilled at that than others.
