Alternatively, you can use a program like Joy2Key (https://joytokey.net/en/download) to map whatever keys you like to a controller, virtual pinball buttons, etc.

Using Rosebud.AI (https://play.rosebud.ai/home) this AI-generated game — including all image assets except for the PGM logo — by me and is loosely based on and inspired by Jaws Pinball (Stern 2024) Shark Hunter Challenge. The game’s background music was also AI generated by me using Suno (see: PGM Experiment: Suno AI Music Generator to Create Arcade, Videogame and Pinball Songs) and a short text prompt.

Coding with Rosebud.AI is not as simple as providing one text prompt and games like this are created. Instead, it’s a process of building the game with the assistance of Rosie, the bot and, in some limited cases editing the code directly to obtain the desired results.

For those interested, we’ve published several articles on Stern’s Jaws Pinball Shark Hunter challenge mode:

PGM Sea Hunter has been added to our PlayGamesMore iScored.

Or, if you like, you can post your highest score in the comments here. Have fun! Oh, and there’s actually more than one game here. See if you can figure out what the second game is about …

UPDATE 7/14/2024 @ 5:50am PST: On the morning of this being published, I decided it would be cool to add touch/mobile controls, a couple additional songs and have the version number match the same as the current Jaws Stern Pinball code just as a fun additional nod. I was able to make all these changes in around 45 minutes with Rosebud.AI writing 95% of the code and only minor changes by me, manually tweaking the code.

To change songs, press 1 on keyboard for the original AI-generated song “Ballad of a Hungry Shark” and 2 for “Jaws Pinball Blues” and 3 for “Jaws Pinball Fever” No promises, but will likely continue to add updates to this game as Stern adds updates to Jaws Pinball code.

NOTE: No gameplay-related code was changed, so high scores should not be impacted in any way by this version change, only added alternate controls, sound and text-only changes.

UPDATE 7/14/2024 @ 9:08pm PST: Added separate link with instructions for Apple iOS and Android phone gamers to play where the screen is better optimized for smaller screens (mobile phone gamers / iOS and Android).
