Odd, gaming related-sites from 20+ years ago still being online is a story in/of itself, but PacManHattan.com does still exist.
This was my original blog post about it on May 7, 2004 (21 years and 1 day ago) and, ironically, my site is not online any more, except through the magic of the Internet Archive:

I also don’t go by that screenname/nom de plume any longer, but am curious how many folks are taking the Pac Manhattan challenge? It’s essentially a game of Pac-Man played in real streets.

In a not-as-creepy way it reminds me somewhat of that early film Mazes & Monsters about the D&D-like game with Tom Hanks where he becomes obsessed with the RPG and goes underground and disappears in the sewers obsessing over the game. His character loses most sense of reality. It’s a spooky movie, long before harmless cosplay became a thing.
Not too agon a lot of D&D talk was in the air with Stern releasing their D&D pinball (The Dragon in the room that is Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye from Stern Pinball) which I have since played and enjoyed.
