Huntdown + New This Week Game Releases (NTWIG) 9/16 – 9/22/2024

This week’s PGM recommended game is Huntdown (https://store.steampowered.com/app/598550/HUNTDOWN/) – originally on games I recommend to play on Steam Deck that work with default controls in 2022, but reminded in the PGM Discord recently by mike dg and confirmed by other PGM members. Look, good games are what we’re all about sharing — and Huntdown is one of them.

It’s that time of the week again to check for noteworthy game releases for PC/Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch via Metacritic. We also discuss these games live on the High Noon with Hollywood Polo stream at noon Tuesdays PST (GMT-8) here: https://www.twitch.tv/playgamesmoredotcom including commentary from other PGM members, wishlist interest and more.

SUMMARY

The number of new games being released each week is heating up, no doubt, but this week, I’m most curious about the new Karate Kid game on PS5, followed by the free MMO, Throne & Liberty, that got bumped back to October 1 release. Yes, can pay for early access, but I rarely am motivated to do that for games these days. Just too much to play and waiting for another new game isn’t that big of a deal. Definitely will take another play or three through Huntdown, our PGM recommended game of the week as well as the arcade game we’re score chasing: Season 3 Week 2: Moonwalker – How to Join Us, Play, Beat Your Personal Best,

What about you? Let us know in the comments what new games you are interested in this week?
