Since, I already have a PS5 — and barely play it (actually, I bought two of them, one my grandson uses very regularly when he visits his dad house, the other sits in our bedroom and hasn’t been getting much attention.
Here’s a breakdown of key differences, mainly: storage space, enhanced GPU which will allow for more advanced Ray Tracing graphic effects.
One technology boost the PS5 Pro will not support? 8K.

SUMMARY
The big game release this week is the PS5 Pro and what it can do for more advanced console gaming, but I have to wonder how many that already have the PS5 are going to upgrade … or just wait until the next version of the PS5? Game-wise, Metal Slug Tactics is the most interesting to me this week, but am probably not getting it at launch. What about you? Which of the new game releases this week are you interested in? Which, if any, will you be buying?
The Empire of the Ants game has me intrigued. I watched a brief play through of the game last night on YouTube. The graphics are amazing and it looks like it could be a fun strategy game from a totally unique perspective. At $40 it is not a day-one buy for me, but I have wishlisted it. Maybe it will be on sale during the Steam Winter Sale, if not it should definitely see a price break by the time the Spring sale rolls around.
I have zero interest in getting the new PS5. I really wish Sony would focus their efforts more on exclusive software for their system. If the model continues to be updates to hardware the PS5 will be the last Playstation I purchase. Gone are the days of the PS1 and 2. They had some wonderful exclusive games. For me the only company still making great exclusive games is Nintendo. For games that are cross platform, and not exclusive, it feels like the Steam Deck, or a PC are the way to go.
