Every year at Steam, there are two major sales: the Summer sales event and Winter sales event. There are several other pretty good sales events, including the annual Steam Autumn event (https://store.steampowered.com/news/collection/sales/?emclan=103582791466213932&emgid=4470478695882031172). They are now calling this the Milestone Autumn Sales Event and it runs:

It’s during these sales it’s a great time to go through your wishlists and decide which games, if any, are on sale enough to purchase or if you really will play the game in your wishlist. Over the next two major seasonal sales, the Autumn sale and Winter sale, I’m going to reduce my Steam wishlist (hopefully!) to a very small number of games. As of this writing, I have 142 wishlisted games.
It’s that time of the week again to check for noteworthy game releases for PC/Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch via Metacritic.

SUMMARY
As shown above, this isn’t a busy week for new releases. I think it’s in great part to the fact there are so many sales and it’s the Thanksgiving holiday week and Friday is Black Friday, ushering in a bunch of game sales and deals. Then there’s Cyber Monday next week, it’s just not a good time to try and sell a brand new game at full retail price versus slashing and gashing prices of existing games.
