We have a few annual traditions developing here at PGM. One involves me picking my favorite gaming-related hardware purchase of the year. Prior years coverage and/or choices in the years no write-up was done (2020-2022):

Some years I’ll buy more gaming-related hardware than others. This year through the first five months I didn’t buy any gaming-related hardware unless you count a printer I color ink printer purchased to print apron cards for our pinball machines. Some stuff was announced that piqued my curiosity at CES and of course there was the Nintendo Switch 2, but didn’t have any desire to buy that.
My 2025 choice is my dream favorite classic arcade game .. ROBOTRON: 2084!! I picked up this badboy for $1,300 + $50 delivery.
