Today, we’re going to learn more about the next Keith Elwin Stern Pinball game: King Kong. In the meantime, a week ago, I had a dream about pinball. They provided a pretty much worthless teaser video I’m embedding below.
Yes, Monday night 4/7/2025 I had this dream about pinball. I wrote this the following Tuesday morning so that I didn’t forget the dream. I’ve had these intricate dreams before and if I don’t write them down, I do forget the details. I also spoke about the dream on the Humpday Wednesday pinball stream on Wednesday 4/9/2025.
Let’s cover what happened in this dream.
We’re at this Costco-like place, it wasn’t Costco and we’re playing this real pinball machine. I vaguely remember what the pinball machine was, but because we had this card. It wasn’t a Costco card, my son is telling me excitedly, that we can take home this brand new pinball machine … for FREE. I’m telling my wife I can’t believe they are just giving away a new pinball machine for free. It wasn’t a toy, it wasn’t a Stern (or maybe it was a dream Stern?!), but it was a good quality game.
The price was $27,000+. I see the receipt and I’m freaking out in the dream because how can they give away a $27,000 pinball machine for free just because you have their card.
We take it home and put it in the lineup next to Iron Maiden, James Bond and Jaws and I go on a live stream to talk about this pinball machine “that’s FREE!” Going on and one to viewers on stream.
Who is this mystery company giving away a pinball machine that costs over twice as much as a Jersey Jack Pinball machine new at $27,000+?! What was this mysterious game? I can only remember vague details about the game, a lot of dark blues and blacks in colors on the playfield. It had a standard Italian layout in the bottom third and several pop bumpers up top. Two flipper design, although it seems there might have been another flipper or two above.
