6-6-2025 today is release day for AI KILLS third album STILLBIRTH

By Todd Russell Jun 6, 2025

Today’s the magic electric day that the world at large can experience Stillbirth, AI KILLS third album release. For those reading that don’t know, this is my AI band. It’s an experiment that began in 2024, at least partly tongue-in-cheek with the debut album Mowing that F-ing Lawn (13 songs)

For those reading PGM for awhile, remember this album also launched with a free, fully playable game in the browser here: Play Lawnmower Nightmare and Celebrate AI Kills Debut Album. In fact, the game came with some bonus tracks not included with the album.

This was followed by a more serious release, Love, Live, Don’t F-ing Hate, Die (18 songs) for Halloween 2024 which some online music stores wrongly reported as a live album. There is live, as in living, and there is live as in a live performance. The second album was not a live album. That album also launched with a playable game: Play NumBlast Purgatory the 6th PGM Original Browser Game and also an AI-generated comic book story generated based on the first 10 tracks. Just like the music and lyrics for the first album, this album was entirely AI generated.

For Stillbirth, I wrote an original fiction story about a half-human, half sea creature named Shrell. This story was cut into 14 chapters with each becoming a song in the album. Those listening and following along with the story, song by song from beginning to end will experience the entire story.

On Wednesday during It’s NW Pinball Show Weekend + Worldwide Debut Listening Party for STILLBIRTH + Humpday Wednesday S2E8 the worldwide premiere of Stillbirth was featured live on the show and the listening party at Bandcamp. Following the play of each song, the album was released on Bandcamp only and with a bonus track not available anywhere else for those that bought the album: Stillbirth | AI KILLS

As previously mentioned during the track list reveal here: AI KILLS Stillbirth Tracklist + Scientists seriously consider if AI could kill every human on earth, Terminator for real this is my first published fiction in 10+ years and am looking forward to seeing how Shrell’s epic album story is received by the world at large.

During the listening party did receive positive feedback. It’s a story with several twists and turns. Give it a listen.

Spread the love
